I LOVE when Matt and Kimber end up together and the meth/CO$ storyline. ![]() The only plot point on the show I really hated was the Peter Dinklage storyline, which was just terrible in every way imaginable. I wish his PRETTY/HANDSOME would have been picked up before GLEE (it was supposed to be 5 seasons and show Joseph Fiennes play a man who transitions into a woman over the course of the 5 seasons) as it was rumored at the time that the shows would have had crossover episodes had PRETTY/HANDSOME been picked up. That being said, it was very obvious that Ryan Murphy stopped caring about the show AT ALL once they moved to LA and the show suffered a slow, sad death as a result. As it was, the whole HEARTS & SCALPELS storyline was a great way to breathe some fresh air into the somewhat stale show and Sharon Gless was simply phenomenal (she should have won the Emmy). I actually think Season 5 works really well and had Kathy Griffin played the Oliver Platt role, as it was originally written (with Rosie as Dawn Budge), I think it would have been as good as anything in Season 1 or 2. ![]() ![]() As has been mentioned already, Season 6 (and 7, as it was broadcast) was the nadir, but there were a few good episodes even in those last, painfully awkward seasons. ![]() Very few shows have such high highs and low lows as this one.
